GOOD MANAGEMENT IS GOOD BUSINESS
BEYOND THE HARVEST
Once the harvest is completed, we revisit the
property and perform
reclamation work. This involves smoothing
out all ruts caused by
logging equipment, as well as spreading the
logging debris.
Additionally, we seed all main skid trails and
loading areas with a
seasonal grass to stabilize the soil.
All of these practices are contractual and are
provided to the
landowner at no cost.

As a private woodland owner you may not be realizing the full value and
benefits that can be realized through professional timber management.
Private lands can grow twice as much timber if managed properly.
While stands as small as 5-10
acres have proven profitable
for their owners,
only on-site inspection
can determine the current value
of a stand and its potential for
future profit.
When discussing your needs
with our forestry staff certain
objectives are agreed upon;
an on-site inspection of the
property will be made to evaluate
and project current and future
potential.
Georgia Mountain Forestry
partners with private owners to
  promote and establish
sustainable forestry practices on their properties that will create income
and value well into the future.
